Level 1b – Ages 9 to 14 | Mild Need – Proprioception Programme
Children with proprioceptive difficulties may seem clumsy, use too much or too little force, slouch, or struggle to judge where their body is in space. You might notice them bumping into things, pressing too hard with a pencil, or finding it hard to stay still or move smoothly. These challenges can affect confidence, coordination, and everyday skills such as handwriting, sport, and self-care.
This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s practical, affordable, and ready to make a real difference in everyday family life.
Created for children aged 9 to 14 with mild proprioceptive needs, the Level 1B Proprioception Programme features eight sensory-rich, creative games including; Stand by the Wall, Spring Flowers, Snow Angels, Balanced Warrior, Sways, Progressive Muscle Relaxation, Silent Mirrors, and Inner Spirals. These movement-based games strengthen the brain–body connection, improve posture and spatial awareness, and help children develop smoother coordination and greater physical confidence. Over time, they gain a steadier sense of body control and self-assurance in learning, sport, and everyday movement.
Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and progresses through a 16 week plan.
The programme includes:
- Eight targeted games
- A visual progress tracker
- Flexible pacing options
- Shared goal-setting activity
- Additional Day-to-day recommendations
- Tips and support to help you get the most from every session.
