Level 2B – Ages 9–14 | Moderate Need – Calm and Relaxation Programme
As children grow older, emotional stress can manifest in new and more complex ways, from anxious thoughts and disrupted sleep to emotional outbursts and difficulty focusing. These challenges may affect wellbeing, learning, and social confidence. With the right support, children can develop practical tools to feel more at ease and in control.
This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.
The Level 2B Calm and Relaxation programme includes eight purposeful and engaging exercises – including Inflating Balloons, Inner Spirals, Grounding the Body, Breath of Joy, Remote Memories, Positive Body Buttons, Graffiti Eyes, and The Healing Orb. Each activity supports emotional regulation through movement, breathwork, and imaginative calm, offering both short-term relief and long-term balance. These games are designed to regulate the nervous system and help children develop awareness of their emotional and physical states. Repeated over time, the exercises promote greater calm, emotional resilience, and focus, empowering children to manage their stress responses with confidence.
Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and progresses through a 16 week plan.
