Level 1B – Ages 9–14 | Mild Need – Muscle Tone Programme
Some children may seem constantly tired, slouch at their desks, lean heavily when standing, or avoid movement-based activities. You may notice they fatigue quickly, show low motivation in physical tasks, or receive feedback from school about posture and energy levels. These signs can point to low muscle tone, affecting physical comfort, stamina, and confidence in everyday life.
This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.
Developed for children aged 9–14 with mild muscle tone needs, the Level 1B programme includes eight challenging movement games including; The Balanced Warrior, Lying Bicycle Ride, and Dead Legs, that gradually improve stamina, postural control, and physical strength over 16 weeks. Each game builds on the last to improve core endurance, body control, and movement confidence. Techniques include isometric holds, aerobic activation, and proprioceptive input, all known to support neuromuscular development and sensory-motor coordination.You’ll also find everyday strategies to help improve sitting posture, reduce fatigue, and manage restlessness.
Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and progresses through a 16 week plan.
