Level 3B – Ages 9–14 | High Need – Vestibular Programme

Children with vestibular difficulties may find balance, coordination, and focus especially hard to maintain. They might lose their footing easily, feel dizzy or disoriented, or avoid fast movement altogether. Others may seek strong motion or constant activity to feel steady and alert. These challenges can affect concentration, posture, and emotional control, often making learning, sport, and daily routines more tiring or frustrating than they need to be.

The Level 3B Vestibular Programme is designed for children aged 9 to 14 who need greater support to stabilise balance, movement control, and attention. Through structured, rhythmic activities, the programme helps regulate the vestibular system, the body’s internal sense of motion and balance. Each exercise is designed to build calm, predictable movement patterns that improve focus, posture, and coordination. Over time, children develop better balance, concentration, and confidence in both learning and physical activity.

This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable, and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.

The programme features eight purposeful and calming movement games including; Stand by the Wall, Speedy Flips, Rise and Shine, Elephants on the March, Rocking Eyes, The Balanced Warrior, I’m Keeping an Eye on You!, and The Breath of Tai Chi. These structured, sensory-based activities help strengthen balance, posture, and coordination while supporting calm focus and emotional regulation.

Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and progresses through a 16 week plan.

The programme includes:

  • Eight targeted  games
  • A visual progress tracker
  • Flexible pacing options
  • Shared goal-setting activity
  • Additional Day-to-day recommendations
  • Tips and support to help you get the most from every session.
