Level 2a – Ages 4 to 8 | Moderate Need – Proprioception Programme
Children with moderate proprioceptive difficulties may seem constantly in motion, bump into things, use too much force, or seek strong pressure or movement to feel settled. They might crash into furniture, squeeze objects too tightly, or find it hard to stay calm and coordinated. These challenges can make everyday activities, such as sitting still, writing, dressing, or playing safely, much more demanding, often affecting confidence and concentration.
This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s practical, affordable, and ready to make a real difference in everyday family life.
Created for children aged 4 to 8 with moderate proprioceptive needs, the Level 2A Proprioception Programme includes eight imaginative and engaging movement games including; Jack in the Box, Autumn Leaves, Spring Flowers, Hurricanes and Whirlwinds, Olympic Skydivers, Wobbly Bottoms, Snow Angels and Rising Snake. These activities channel movement and pressure-seeking energy in positive ways, helping children feel calmer, more coordinated, and more aware of their bodies in space. Over time, they build strength, balance, and control, leading to greater stability and confidence in movement and play.
Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and progresses through a 16 week plan.
The programme includes:
- Eight targeted games
- A visual progress tracker
- Flexible pacing options
- Shared goal-setting activity
- Additional Day-to-day recommendations
- Tips and support to help you get the most from every session.
