Level 1B – Ages 9–14 | Mild Need – Primitive Reflexes Programme
Children with retained primitive reflexes may startle easily, fidget, show poor posture or clumsiness, and struggle to stay calm or focused. These early-life reflexes, when not naturally inhibited, can continue to affect a child’s coordination, behaviour, and emotional regulation, even into school age.
This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.
Designed for children aged 9–14, the Level 1B Primitive Reflexes programme features eight targeted movement games including; Bubble Capture, Criss-cross Beanbags, and The Restful Floor, that help integrate early reflexes such as the Moro, TLR, and spinal Galant.
Each game engages the vestibular, proprioceptive, and tactile systems to improve coordination, postural control, emotional regulation, and physical confidence. Through repeated, imaginative play, children gradually develop better balance, focus, and calmness in both learning and daily life.
You’ll also find day-to-day strategies to support self-regulation and sensory readiness at home and school.
The programme includes:
- Eight specialised movement games
- A visual progress tracker
- Flexible pacing options
- Shared goal-setting activity
- Additional Day-to-day recommendations
- Tips and support to help you get the most from every session.
