Level 3b – Ages 9 to 14 | Higher Need – Proprioception Programme

Children with higher proprioceptive needs may crave strong movement or deep pressure, use excessive force, or appear restless and unable to relax. They may seem tense, fidgety, or disconnected from their body, often bumping into things or avoiding physical activity altogether. These difficulties can make schoolwork, sports, and social interactions harder, leading to frustration, low confidence, and emotional fatigue.

The Level 3B Proprioception Programme is designed for children aged 9 to 14 who need more structured, intensive support to feel grounded, coordinated, and in control of their bodies. Through focused, play-based activities, it helps release built-up energy safely while improving posture, muscle control, and spatial awareness. Over time, children become calmer, more balanced, and more confident in how they move and participate in everyday life.

If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.

The programme features eight purposeful movement games including; Stand by the Wall, Dead Legs, Wobbly Bottoms, Speedy Flips, Rising Snake, Spring Flowers, Snow Angels and Olympic Skydivers. The combination of these selected games, over a progress and structured 16 week programme strengthen the brain–body connection, enhance body awareness, and promote calm focus through rhythmic, sensory-rich movement.
