Level 1A – Ages 4–8 | Mild Need – Primitive Reflexes Programme
Children with retained primitive reflexes may startle easily, fidget, show poor posture or clumsiness, and struggle to stay calm or focused. These early-life reflexes, when not naturally inhibited, can continue to affect a child’s coordination, behaviour, and emotional regulation, even into school age.
This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.
Designed for children aged 4–8, the Level 1A Primitive Reflexes programme features eight carefully chosen movement games — including Spring Flowers, Rocking Eyes, and The Sneaky Crawler Biscuit Thief, to help integrate early reflexes like the Moro, TLR, and spinal Galant.
These imaginative activities stimulate the vestibular, proprioceptive, and tactile systems. With repetition, they support improved body awareness, balance, calm, coordination, and sensory integration. They’re fun to play, easy to follow, and tailored to your child’s stage of development. You’ll also find day-to-day strategies to promote calm, stability, and focus at home and in routines.
The programme includes:
- Eight specialised movement games
- A visual progress tracker
- Flexible pacing options
- Shared goal-setting activity
- Additional Day-to-day recommendations
- Tips and support to help you get the most from every session.
