Primitive Reflexes Individual Movement Programme Level 1, Ages 4-8

Children with retained primitive reflexes may show impulsive behaviour, poor coordination, or difficulty sitting still and concentrating. These early reflexes can interfere with learning, emotional control, and physical confidence as the brain and body work harder to stay organised. This fun at-home movement programme helps integrate primitive reflexes, building better focus, coordination, and self-control. It’s perfect for children with SEN or behavioural challenges and fits easily into family life, taking less than 10 minutes a day! The 8 games below are included in your programme.

£19.99

Spring Flowers

Spring Flowers helps inhibit the Moro reflex, improve body awareness, and build emotional resilience through peaceful, rhythmic, and controlled movements.

Rocking Eyes

Rocking Eyes is a dynamic activity that improves visual tracking, balance, and coordination through controlled rocking movements, while stimulating the vestibular-ocular reflex.

Rise and Shine

Rise and Shine helps improve balance, muscle tone, and body control through controlled movements and static holds, using a hoop. It enhances proprioception and body awareness while developing essential motor skills in a fun and engaging way.

Egg

Egg supports emotional regulation, enhances coordination, and helps integrate the Moro reflex, promoting calm and focus.

Life of a Raindrop

Life of a Raindrop takes your child on a fun journey from the sky to the ground and back again, improving balance, coordination, and reflexes through creative movement.

Olympic Skydivers

Olympic Skydivers enhances body awareness, motor control, and balance through dynamic movements, stimulating proprioception, the spinal galant reflex, and labyrinthine reflexes.

The Sneaky Crawler Biscuit Thief

The Sneaky Crawler Biscuit Thief helps improve whole-body coordination and sensory organisation by inhibiting neuro-developmental reflexes, all while practising crawling movements.

Elephants on the March

Elephants on the March is a fun and imaginative challenge that enhances balance, coordination, muscle tone, and motor skills, while building body control in an engaging way

Level 1A – Ages 4–8 | Mild Need – Primitive Reflexes Programme

Children with retained primitive reflexes may startle easily, fidget, show poor posture or clumsiness, and struggle to stay calm or focused. These early-life reflexes, when not naturally inhibited, can continue to affect a child’s coordination, behaviour, and emotional regulation, even into school age.

This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.

Designed for children aged 4–8, the Level 1A Primitive Reflexes programme features eight carefully chosen movement games — including Spring Flowers, Rocking Eyes, and The Sneaky Crawler Biscuit Thief, to help integrate early reflexes like the Moro, TLR, and spinal Galant.

These imaginative activities stimulate the vestibular, proprioceptive, and tactile systems. With repetition, they support improved body awareness, balance, calm, coordination, and sensory integration. They’re fun to play, easy to follow, and tailored to your child’s stage of development.  You’ll also find day-to-day strategies to promote calm, stability, and focus at home and in routines.

The programme includes:

  • Eight specialised movement games
  • A visual progress tracker
  • Flexible pacing options
  • Shared goal-setting activity
  • Additional Day-to-day recommendations
  • Tips and support to help you get the most from every session.
