Level 2B – Ages 9–14 | Moderate Need – Body Awareness Programme
Children who experience poor body awareness may move awkwardly, misjudge distances, slouch, or feel disconnected from their physical body. They may avoid sports, struggle with fine or gross motor tasks, or seem unsure of their body’s position in space. These challenges can limit confidence, independence, and engagement at school and home.
This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.
The Level 2B Body Awareness programme includes eight structured and age-relevant movement games, including The Restful Floor, The Balanced Warrior, Magical Forcefields, Magical Torch Adventures, Snow Angels, Sways, The Breath of Tai Chi, and Positive Body Buttons. These activities are designed to strengthen the internal body map, improve posture and control, and support emotional and physical awareness through purposeful movement.
Each game encourages the brain and body to communicate more effectively, improving proprioception, coordination, and motor planning. Regular use builds stronger movement patterns, postural awareness, and self-confidence, all essential foundations for learning and everyday life.
Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and progresses through a 16 week plan.
