Level 1B – Ages 9–14 | Mild Need – Calm and Relaxation Programme
As academic pressures and emotional demands increase, children may find it harder to switch off, settle their minds, or handle stress. They might struggle to relax, feel tense or anxious, or have difficulty sleeping and concentrating. These signs can affect wellbeing, learning, and confidence.
This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.
The Level 1B Calm and Relaxation programme includes eight purposeful, engaging exercises, including Breath of Tai Chi, Magical Torch Adventures, Remote Memories, and Inner Spirals. These activities use a blend of breathwork, body awareness, visualisation, and guided stillness to ease emotional tension and promote a calm and reflective state.
Each game is designed to encourage short-term relief and long-term emotional balance by helping children develop tools to manage stress, regain focus, and feel more in control of their inner world.
You’ll also find practical guidance and sensory-based tips to support calm throughout the day, including ideas for calming spaces, use of sensory tools, and incorporating mindful routines.
Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and follows a progressive 16 week plan. The programme includes eight specialised movement games, a visual progress tracker, flexible pacing options, shared goal-setting, and clear guidance, tips, and support to help you get the most from every session.
