Level 3B – Ages 9–14 | High Need – Visual Perception Programme

Children with visual perception difficulties may struggle to process and organise what they see, even with normal eyesight. They might lose their place when reading, skip lines or words, find it hard to copy from the board, or misjudge spacing when writing. These ongoing challenges can make reading, handwriting, and concentration difficult, often leading to frustration, avoidance, or a drop in confidence during learning.

The Level 3B Visual Perception Programme is designed for children aged 9 to 14 who need greater support to strengthen how the brain and eyes work together. Through structured, movement-based activities, the programme helps improve visual tracking, focus, and spatial awareness, essential for fluent reading, writing, and coordination. Each exercise provides steady, rhythmic practice to help children stay focused, process visual information more efficiently, and build confidence in academic and everyday tasks.

This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable, and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.

The programme features eight purposeful and structured movement games including; Rocking Eyes, Hungry Eagles, Blacker than Black, I’m Keeping an Eye on You!, Connections, Microscope Eyes, Hypnotic Eyes, and Graffiti Eyes.  Rooted in behavioural optometry and natural vision therapy techniques, these games support the development of the vestibular-ocular reflex and visual processing pathways. Over time, they help reduce visual stress, improve eye coordination, and increase confidence and fluency in reading, writing, and everyday tasks.

Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and progresses through a 16 week plan.

The programme includes:

  • Eight targeted  games
  • A visual progress tracker
  • Flexible pacing options
  • Shared goal-setting activity
  • Additional Day-to-day recommendations
  • Tips and support to help you get the most from every session.
