Level 1A – Ages 4–8 | Mild Need – Vestibular Programme
Children with vestibular difficulties may seem cautious with climbing, swinging, or spinning, or may lose balance easily when turning or changing direction. They might prefer to stay still, move carefully, or feel dizzy more quickly than others. These small signs can affect confidence, coordination, and comfort during play, sport, and classroom activities that involve movement.
The Level 1A Vestibular Programme is designed for children aged 4 to 8 who need gentle support to strengthen balance and spatial awareness. Through fun, movement-based activities, the programme helps the brain and body work together more efficiently, improving postural stability, coordination, and movement confidence. Over time, children become more comfortable exploring motion and gain greater control in daily play and learning.
If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s practical, affordable, and ready to make a real difference in everyday family life.
The programme features eight playful and engaging movement games including; Wobbly Bottoms, Flying Carpet, Rocking Eyes, and Hungry Eagles. These simple, structured activities gently stimulate the vestibular system, helping children build balance, coordination, and a sense of body control in a fun, accessible way.
Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and progresses through a 16 week plan.
The programme includes:
- Eight targeted games
- A visual progress tracker
- Flexible pacing options
- Shared goal-setting activity
- Additional Day-to-day recommendations
- Tips and support to help you get the most from every session.
