Grounding the Body is a calming activity enhances body awareness and sensory integration through rhythmic breathing and gentle pressure, helping your child tune into their body’s sensations.

Inner Spirals

Inner Spirals helps improve body awareness and mental relaxation by guiding your child to visualise soothing spirals within their body. It promotes calm, introspection, and enhances the body schema, encouraging a deeper connection with the body.

Egg

Egg supports emotional regulation, enhances coordination, and helps integrate the Moro reflex, promoting calm and focus.

The Artistic Nose

The Artistic Nose is a visually creative activity enhances visual perception, promotes relaxation, and helps improve the visual-ocular reflex through creative, mindful movements.

Deep Black Eyes

Deep Black Eyes is a relaxing and calming activity that reduces visual tension and promotes introspection through focused visualisation.

Deeply Relaxing Bodies

Deeply Relaxing Bodies is a calming activity to help your child relax their body, release tension, and promote a deep sense of calm and relaxation.

Inflating Balloons

Inflating Balloons is a calming diaphragmatic breathing exercise that helps promote relaxation, emotional resilience, and mental clarity.

Level 2A – Ages 4–8 | Moderate Need – Calm and Relaxation Programme

 

Children who struggle to relax or manage stress may experience sleep problems, emotional outbursts, physical tension, or difficulty focusing. These challenges can affect learning, behaviour, and overall wellbeing. With the right strategies, children can learn to feel more at ease in their minds and bodies.

 

This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.

 

The Level 2A Calm and Relaxation programme includes eight imaginative, sequenced exercises including; Egg, Circulation Beats, Deep Black Eyes, and Inner Spirals. These activities combine gentle movement, breathing, and sensory focused techniques to support both short-term relief and long-term emotional wellbeing.  Each game helps calm the nervous system and regulate emotions by engaging the senses and encouraging body awareness. With regular use, children may experience better focus, reduced anxiety, and improved sleep and self-regulation.

 

Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and progresses through a 16 week plan.
