Level 1A – Ages 4–8 | Mild Need – Visual Perception Programme
Children with visual perception difficulties may find it hard to interpret what they see, even if their eyesight is normal. They might lose their place when reading, confuse similar letters or shapes, or struggle to copy words or patterns accurately. These challenges can affect handwriting, coordination, and confidence in early learning, particularly in reading and writing tasks.
The Level 1A Visual Perception Programme is designed for children aged 4 to 8 who need gentle support to strengthen how the brain processes visual information. Through fun, movement-based games, the programme helps develop visual tracking, focus, and spatial awareness — key skills for reading, writing, and classroom learning. Over time, children become more accurate, organised, and confident in their visual and written work.
This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable, and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.
The programme features eight creative and engaging movement games including; Rocking Eyes, The Artistic Nose, What’s the Drawing?, and Connections . These activities strengthen eye movement control, hand-eye coordination, and visual focus through gentle, playful repetition.
Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and progresses through a 16 week plan.
