Level 2A – Ages 4–8 | Moderate Need – Visual Perception Programme
Children with visual perception difficulties may find it hard to recognise patterns, shapes, or letters, even when their eyesight is fine. They might lose their place when reading, confuse directions, or find puzzles, drawing, or copying shapes difficult. These challenges can affect reading, handwriting, and confidence in early classroom learning, often leaving children frustrated or unsure of themselves.
The Level 2A Visual Perception Programme is designed for children aged 4 to 8 who need structured support to strengthen how the brain and eyes work together. Through fun, movement-based games, the programme helps improve visual tracking, focus, and spatial awareness, essential for reading, writing, and visual organisation. Over time, children develop greater accuracy, confidence, and enjoyment in learning and play.
This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable, and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.
The programme features eight creative and engaging movement games including; I’m Keeping an Eye on You!, Rocking Eyes, The Artistic Nose, Hungry Eagles, What’s the Drawing?, Balloon Handball, Connections, and Hypnotic Eyes. These enjoyable activities strengthen eye movement control, coordination, and visual memory through structured, repetitive practice.
Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and progresses through a 16 week plan.
The programme includes:
- Eight targeted games
- A visual progress tracker
- Flexible pacing options
- Shared goal-setting activity
