Proprioception Individual Movement Programme Level 3, Ages 4-8

Children with proprioceptive difficulties may seem clumsy, use too much or too little force, or struggle to judge where their body is in space. They might bump into things, press too hard with a pencil, or find it hard to move smoothly. This fun at-home movement programme helps children develop better body awareness, balance, and coordination through playful, easy-to-follow games that fit into family life, all in less than 10 minutes a day! The 8 games below are included in your programme.

Wobbly Bottoms

Wobby Bottoms strengthens core muscles and stimulates the vestibular and proprioception systems through fun, challenging movements that improve balance and coordination.

Speedy Flips

Speedy Flips helps inhibit neuro-developmental reflexes and enhances whole-body coordination, muscle tone, and sensory organisation. It improves proprioception, reflexes, and coordination through dynamic movements.

Snow Angels

Snow Angels helps improve your child’s spatial awareness (proprioception), coordination and calms the spinal Galant reflex. It’s a simple, enjoyable way to enhance balance and motor skills.

Spring Flowers

Spring Flowers helps inhibit the Moro reflex, improve body awareness, and build emotional resilience through peaceful, rhythmic, and controlled movements.

Olympic Skydivers

Olympic Skydivers enhances body awareness, motor control, and balance through dynamic movements, stimulating proprioception, the spinal galant reflex, and labyrinthine reflexes.

Animal Morphing

Animal Morphing encourages creativity and improves coordination, joint mobility, and body awareness through imaginative animal movements.

Musical Statues

Musical Statues is a fun and energetic game boosting spatial awareness, coordination, and body control through dynamic movements and static holds, all while improving muscle tone and proprioception.

Jack in the box

Jack in the Box is an energetic activity activating the vestibular system and strengthening muscles through explosive, bouncy movements, improving body control, balance, and coordination.

Level 3a – Ages 4 to 8 | Higher Need – Proprioception Programme

Children with higher proprioceptive needs may constantly seek movement, crash into furniture, squeeze or push with excessive force, or struggle to stay calm and coordinated. They may appear rough in play, crave deep pressure, or find it hard to judge the space around them. These strong sensory-seeking behaviours can make everyday activities such as sitting, dressing, or concentrating on tasks feel challenging and tiring, often affecting confidence, attention, and emotional regulation.

The Level 3A Proprioception Programme is designed for children aged 4 to 8 who need more intensive support to organise their movement and feel secure in their bodies. Through structured, play-based activities, it helps them release excess energy safely while developing steadier balance, posture, and spatial control. Over time, children become calmer, more coordinated, and more comfortable in their own skin.

If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.

The programme features eight sensory-rich and engaging movement games include; Jack in the Box, Speedy Flips, Olympic Skydivers, Wobbly Bottoms, Spring Flowers, Animal Morphing, Musical Statues and Snow Angels. These games strengthen the brain–body connection, improve body awareness, and promote calm focus through structured movement and gentle repetition.

Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and progresses through a 16 week plan.

The programme includes:

  • Eight targeted  games
  • A visual progress tracker
  • Flexible pacing options
  • Shared goal-setting activity
  • Additional Day-to-day recommendations
  • Tips and support to help you get the most from every session.
