Level 3A – Ages 4–8 | High Need – Body Awareness Programme
Children with significant body awareness difficulties may struggle to navigate space safely, control their posture, or carry out daily physical tasks. These challenges can affect confidence, school participation, and emotional wellbeing, especially when everyday movements feel difficult or unpredictable.
This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.
The Level 3A Body Awareness programme includes eight playful and progressive movement games including; Deeply Relaxing Bodies, Bubble Capture, Simon Says, Face Painting, New Skin, Tiny Explorers, Silent Mirrors, and Inner Spirals. These activities are designed to improve posture, balance, proprioception, and emotional connection through imaginative movement and sensory play.
Each game helps build a stronger internal body map (body schema), improve spatial judgement, and support motor planning – all key components of body awareness. With regular use, the exercises promote greater control, confidence, and readiness for learning.
Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and progresses through a 16 week plan.
The programme includes:
- Eight targeted games
- A visual progress tracker
- Flexible pacing options
- Shared goal-setting activity
- Additional Day-to-day recommendations
- Tips and support to help you get the most from every session.
