Primitive Reflexes Individual Movement Programme Level 3, Ages 4-8

Children with retained primitive reflexes may show impulsive behaviour, poor coordination, or difficulty sitting still and concentrating. These early reflexes can interfere with learning, emotional control, and physical confidence as the brain and body work harder to stay organised. This fun at-home movement programme helps integrate primitive reflexes, building better focus, coordination, and self-control. It’s perfect for children with SEN or behavioural challenges and fits easily into family life, taking less than 10 minutes a day! The 8 games below are included in your programme.

Level 3A – Ages 4–8 | High Need – Primitive Reflexes Programme

Children with significantly retained primitive reflexes may react strongly to sudden stimuli, show clumsy or uncoordinated movements, struggle to regulate emotions, or find it hard to focus. These early reflexes, meant to fade in infancy, can interfere with a child’s learning, behaviour, and physical development when they remain active beyond their expected time.

This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.

The Level 3A Primitive Reflexes programme includes eight structured movement games including; Spring Flowers, The Sneaky Crawler Biscuit Thief, and Olympic Skydivers, designed to support integration of reflexes such as the Moro, TLR, STNR, and Spinal Galant. This 16 week progressive programme uses imaginative, sensory-rich games that build on one another through repetition, helping children develop better balance, coordination, sensory regulation, and emotional resilience.

The programme includes:

  • Eight specialised movement games
  • A visual progress tracker
  • Flexible pacing options
  • Shared goal-setting activity
  • Additional Day-to-day recommendations
  • Tips and support to help you get the most from every session.
