Level 3B – Ages 9–14 | High Need – Calm and Relaxation Programme
Older children facing persistent stress, emotional overload, or physical tension may struggle to cope with daily pressures. Signs can include irritability, worry, withdrawal, restlessness, and difficulty sleeping or concentrating, all of which can impact wellbeing, confidence, and learning.
This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.
The Level 3B Calm and Relaxation programme includes eight specialised techniques including; Progressive Muscle Relaxation, Inflating Balloons, Deeply Relaxing Bodies, Breath of Joy, The Balanced Warrior, Remote Memories, The Healing Orb, and The Flow of Breath. These games use breath, movement, body awareness, and visualisation to reduce stress and promote a sense of calm and emotional steadiness. By regularly practising these techniques, children can improve their self-awareness, regulate emotional responses, and develop lasting strategies for calming the body and mind. These benefits can support better focus, sleep, and a more grounded approach to daily life.
Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and progresses through a 16 week plan.
