8 Week Body Awareness PE Programme – Ages 8 to 9
The 8 Week Body Awareness PE Programme helps schools deliver high quality, developmentally focused lessons that support children’s physical, emotional and social development. Designed for 8 to 9 year olds, it focuses on building spatial awareness, postural control and a positive connection to the body through playful, structured movement.
Ideal for whole class PE, small SEN groups, or enrichment sessions, each lesson follows a consistent three part structure — Activation, Exploration, and Integration — beginning with fun warm up games, followed by strength building activities, and finishing with focused movement control tasks.
Each lesson is available in two flexible formats:
- 20 minute lessons for short sessions or warm ups
- 40 minute lessons for full curriculum delivery
