Level 3B – Ages 9–14 | High Need – Muscle Tone Programme
When muscle tone is especially low, simple daily movements can feel tiring or overwhelming. Your child may lean heavily when sitting, avoid physical tasks, or struggle with stamina, balance, and control. These challenges can impact confidence, focus, and participation across school, home, and social life.
This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.
Developed for children aged 9–14 who need high-level support, the Level 3B programme uses eight challenging exercises including; Dead Legs, Push Warriors, and Erupting Fizzy Belly, sequenced to build physical endurance, postural strength, and whole-body control over 16 weeks.
These exercises/games use energy bursts, isometric holds, and core-focused movement strategies to support neuromuscular development and sensory-motor coordination. The exercises are designed to engage large muscle groups, improve trunk stability, and help children move with more ease and confidence. You’ll also find day-to-day movement tips and posture strategies that complement the core exercises and help your child feel stronger, steadier, and more in control.
Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and progresses through a 16 week plan.
