Small Group Visual Perception Programme – Ages 9 to 14
This 16 week small group programme supports pupils aged 9 to 14 who struggle with visual tracking, eye hand coordination, visual memory, or attention to visual tasks. It is ideal for children who lose their place when reading, mix up letters or numbers, or find it hard to copy from the board.
Through creative and purposeful activities included in this PDF download like; Graffiti Eyes, Dancing Eyes, Microscope Eyes, and What’s My Sequence?, this programme builds core visual skills in a fun and accessible way. It supports reading, writing, organisation, and focus, helping pupils feel more confident in the classroom.
This programme includes:
- A 16 week plan split into two 8 week blocks
- 12 targeted visual games and tracking activities
- Visual game cards with step by step instructions
- Built in assessments and progress tools
- Goal setting and pupil reflection pages
- A teacher delivery guide with practical session advice
Sessions last 10 to 15 minutes, 2 to 3 times per week, and fit easily into the school timetable. Use as part of your support for literacy, visual processing, SEN or learning readiness. No specialist equipment or training required.
