Small Group Visual Perception Programme – Ages 4 to 8
This 16 week small group programme supports children aged 4 to 8 who struggle with visual tracking, spatial awareness, focus, or eye hand coordination. It is ideal for pupils with reading or writing difficulties, letter reversals, eye fatigue, or attention challenges related to visual processing.
Through creative games included in this PDF download like; Microscope Eyes, Balloon Handball, Hypnotic Eyes, and What’s the Drawing?, the programme strengthens key visual skills including tracking, fixation, convergence, and visual memory. Children learn to process visual information more easily and confidently, supporting both learning and self regulation.
This programme includes:
- A 16 week plan split into two 8 week blocks
- 12 vision based movement and focus games
- Visual game cards with step by step instructions
- Built in assessments and pupil reflection tools
- Goal setting pages for progress tracking
- A teacher delivery guide with clear delivery advice
Each session takes 10 to 15 minutes, 2 to 3 times per week, and fits easily into the school day. Use in group interventions, SEND support, or wider visual development strategies. No specialist equipment or training required.
