Small Group Primitive Reflexes Programme – Ages 9–14
This 16 week small group programme supports pupils aged 9–14 who show signs of retained primitive reflexes, such as startle responses, poor focus, motor challenges, anxiety, or sensory overwhelm. Designed for school settings, it helps repattern reflexes and support physical, emotional, and behavioural development.
Through playful, targeted activities in this PDF download like; Olympic Skydivers, Criss-Cross Beanbags, The Sneaky Crawler Biscuit Thief!, and Spring Flowers, pupils improve movement control, reduce stress responses, and build better self-regulation in short, structured sessions.
This programme includes:
- 12 engaging movement games and reflex-inhibiting activities
- A 16 week plan split into two 8 week blocks
- Visual game cards with step-by-step guidance
- Goal-setting tools and pupil reflection pages
- Built-in assessments to track progress
- A teacher delivery guide with session tips and adaptations
Each session takes just 10–15 minutes, 2–3 times a week, and fits easily into the school timetable. Ideal for use in small group interventions, SEN support, or physical and emotional readiness programmes. No specialist equipment or training required.
