Small Group Calm and Relaxation Programme – Ages 9–14
This 16 week programme supports pupils aged 9–14 who experience anxiety, emotional overload, or difficulty self-regulating. Designed for small group use, it helps children develop calm, confidence, and emotional control through movement, breathwork, and guided sensory activities.
Children today often carry emotional or sensory stress that affects focus, behaviour, and wellbeing. This programme offers immediate calming strategies within sessions, while building long-term resilience. Over time, pupils gain tools they can apply throughout the day to reset, refocus, and feel more in control.
Activities in this PDF download include; Breath of Joy, Positive Body Buttons, Remote Memories, and The Flow of Breath, each designed to reduce tension, support regulation, and connect body awareness with emotional balance.
This programme includes:
- A 16 week plan with two 8 week blocks
