Level 3A – Ages 4–8 | High Need – Muscle Tone Programme
When muscle tone is significantly low, everyday movement can feel difficult. You may notice your child tires quickly, slouches deeply, struggles to sit upright, or avoids physical activities that other children enjoy. Low muscle tone can lead to a lack of confidence, and a willingness to take part in activities at school, at home, and at play.
This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.
Developed for children aged 4–8 who need higher support in developing muscle tone, the Level 3A programme includes eight targeted exercises such as; Olympic Spot Joggers, Power Body, and Push That Wall Down! sequenced to gradually strengthen postural control, physical endurance, and whole-body tone. Techniques used include aerobic bursts, isometric challenges, and core activations, known to support muscle efficiency, neuromuscular coordination, and balance. These carefully selected games help children feel stronger, more stable, and ready to engage with the world around them. You’ll also find day-to-day strategies to support posture, improve movement quality, and boost participation through confidence and physical readiness.
Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and progresses through a 16 week plan.
The programme includes:
- Eight targeted games
- A visual progress tracker
- Flexible pacing options
- Shared goal-setting activity
- Additional Day-to-day recommendations
- Tips and support to help you get the most from every session.
