Small Group Postural Reflexes Programme – Ages 9–14
This 16 week small group programme supports pupils aged 9–14 with retained postural reflexes that affect balance, posture, coordination, and emotional regulation. Ideal for children who slouch, fatigue easily, fidget, or struggle with focus and physical tasks, it helps to repattern movement and strengthen body control.
Through imaginative, movement-based games included in this PDF download like; Metal Bodies, Olympic Skydivers, Hypnotic Eyes, and The Slow Motion Escape, the programme targets reflex integration, core strength, and sensory organisation to improve learning readiness and physical confidence.
This programme includes:
- 12 targeted movement games to support postural reflex integration
- A 16 week plan split into two 8 week blocks
- Visual game cards with clear, step-by-step instructions
- Pupil reflection and goal-setting tools
- Built-in baseline and follow-up assessments
- A delivery guide for teachers with tips for success
Sessions last 10–15 minutes, 2–3 times a week, and fit easily into the school week. Use in intervention groups, SEND support, or as part of wider physical development provision, no specialist training or equipment needed.
