Level 1A – Ages 4–8 | Mild Need – Postural Reflexes Programme
Some children slouch when sitting, lean on desks, or trip over their own feet. Others fidget constantly, struggle with handwriting, or seem easily overwhelmed in noisy or busy settings. These may be signs of retained postural reflexes, early movement patterns that should naturally fade as the brain and body mature, but sometimes don’t.
This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.
Developed for children aged 4–8 with mild postural reflex challenges, the Level 1A programme includes eight creative and challenging movement games including; Wobbly Bottoms, Olympic Skydivers, and Tight Rope Walk, each one designed to support reflex integration. The 16 week programme will stimulate the vestibular and proprioceptive systems, helping the brain and body work together to improve posture, balance, fine motor skills, and emotional regulation. With regular practice, children who inhibit postural reflexes often show improvements in concentration, handwriting, physical confidence, and mood management.
Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and progresses through a 16 week plan.
The programme includes:
- Eight targeted games
- A visual progress tracker
- Flexible pacing options
- Shared goal-setting activity
- Additional Day-to-day recommendations
- Tips and support to help you get the most from every session.
