8 Week Muscle Tone PE Programme – Ages 6 to 7
This complete PE programme helps schools deliver high quality, developmentally focused lessons that support physical, emotional and academic growth. Designed for 6 to 7 year olds, it targets muscle tone, core strength, stamina and postural control through playful, engaging movement.
Ideal for whole class PE, SEN groups or enrichment, the programme follows a simple three part structure — Activation, Exploration and Integration — guiding children through purposeful repetition, creative movement exploration and focused activities.
Each session is clearly planned and available in two interchangeable formats:
- 20 minute lessons for short sessions or warm ups
- 40 minute lessons for full curriculum delivery
The programme includes 24 games and activities, delivered through structured and interchangeable lesson plans across 8 weeks. These games support strength, confidence, balance and physical readiness, using fun and imaginative play to keep children motivated and moving.
