Level 3A – Ages 4–8 | High Need – Vestibular Programme

Children with vestibular difficulties may constantly seek movement, spinning, jumping, or rocking to feel balanced and secure. Others may avoid these same activities, feeling anxious or unsteady when moving, climbing, or changing direction. These strong responses to movement can make it difficult to sit still, stay focused, or participate fully in learning and play. Over time, this can affect confidence, attention, and emotional control.

The Level 3A Vestibular Programme is designed for children aged 4 to 8 who need greater support to regulate balance, movement, and attention. Through gentle, rhythmic activities, the programme helps stabilise the vestibular system — improving how the body processes motion and spatial awareness. Each exercise provides safe, predictable movement that encourages calm, confidence, and better coordination. Over time, children become more focused, balanced, and ready to learn and play with ease.

This programme is designed to help. If you’ve just completed our free online assessment, this is the level recommended for your child. If not, the assessment is always available to help guide your choice. Whether there’s a diagnosis, a flagged need, or simply something you’ve noticed, this programme offers targeted support that’s flexible, affordable, and ready to make a difference in everyday family life.

The programme features eight engaging and sensory-rich movement games including; Row-row-the-Boat, Jack-in-the-Box, Speedy Flips, Rocking Eyes, Elephants on the March, Flying Carpet, Stand by the Wall, and The Human Rolling Pin. These games provide controlled, repetitive motion to help children develop balance, focus, and coordination in a fun and manageable way.

Each session takes less than 10 minutes a day, ideally 5 times a week, and progresses through a 16 week plan.

The programme includes:

  • Eight targeted  games
  • A visual progress tracker
  • Flexible pacing options
  • Shared goal-setting activity
  • Additional Day-to-day recommendations
  • Tips and support to help you get the most from every session.
