Small Group Muscle Tone Programme – Ages 4–8
This 16 week programme supports children aged 4–8 who struggle with low muscle tone, poor posture, weak core strength, or reduced stamina. It’s designed for small group delivery and is ideal for pupils with physical delays, sensory-motor challenges, or difficulties affecting coordination, handwriting, or classroom endurance.
The playful, movement-based sessions use imaginative games and targeted exercises to build tone and strength across the body, particularly the core, shoulders, and legs. Activities in this PDF download include; Erupting Fizzy Belly, Bunny Hop Race, Stand by the Wall!, Push That Wall Down!, Dead Legs, and Olympic Spot Joggers, all carefully chosen to help children sit straighter, move better, and feel more in control of their bodies.
This programme includes:
- A 16 week plan split into two 8 week blocks
- 12 specially selected strength and posture games
- Visual game cards with simple step-by-step instructions
- Goal-setting and pupil reflection tools
- Built-in assessments to track progress
- A teacher delivery guide with practical tips and structure
Each session lasts just 10–15 minutes and is recommended 2–3 times per week. Designed for easy implementation within schools, this programme supports pupils who need a fun, effective way to build body strength, focus, and physical readiness for learning. No specialist training or equipment needed.
